Being Soulless

In this lost lost world
We look for some solitude
An escape from roles and noise
An escape to somewhere like paradise
We often wear different masks in mundane
We play roles we seldom want to sustain.
And then there is a day
Where we open the doors
Only to set ourself free
Physically and mentally
And in an instance
You find yourself
a little less espirit
The routine, the feelings or the tasks
You mark your self on every attendance
Even before one can even ask
But there again are people standing ignorant
Who perhaps prefer to stay truant
Who are we in our own mirror
Where are we in our own cage
In this lost lost world
Why is it so tough to
Look out for us within ourself?
Is this how it is
Being soulless?
