Blind to Succeed: How to Achieve Great Success in Life Pursuing Your Passion by Michael Atkins
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Blind to Succeed “how to achieve success in life pursuing your passion”, by Michael Atkins, falls under the genre of self-help books. As the tagline suggests, it is a collection of stories supported by inspirational quotes from recognised personalities influencing you to lead a successful life.
The book is prima facie divided into thirty chapters but doesn’t let you lose its grip. Every chapter is short and makes for a quick read. Unlike the other books in this genre, the author doesn’t set unrealistic goals for the readers. It cumulates the opinions into realistic measures derived from the author’s personal experiences.
The book, in my opinion, is a good read for people going through turbulent times, and that includes career defining moments. If you are reading it, be sure to be reminded of Del Carnegie’s ‘How to stop worrying and start living”. The literary standard is apt and it successfully establishes a connection with the reader(s).
